Your Majesty/Rugtip. Split (Random Records, 1994)

Sorry for the lack of posts on my part... been busy with a new job and girlfriend... many new posts to come, though. Bought this because it looked interesting... turns out to be a pretty decent record. Don't really have any info on either of these two bands. All the info I have are on the inserts which is included in the RAR file.

Your Majesty was a band from Washington, DC. They were: Michel Adi, Chris Lauterbach, and Jay Stuckey.

Rugtip. was from I don't know where. They were: Ariel on drums, Jason on guitar/vocals, and Josh on bass.

Silicon Teens - Red River Rock b/w Chip 'N' Roll (Mute Records, 1980)

Silicon Teens were a one-off electropop project by synth whiz Daniel Miller, who is best known as the founder and owner of highly influential independent record label Mute Records. The “group” was publicized as a quartet named Darryl, Jacki, Paul and Diane, but in reality these individuals did not exist and for media interviews their parts were played by actors.

This is a different post, but I like Silicon Teen. They're great.

Cars Get Crushed - Self-Titled (Belmondo, 1996)

Cars Get Crushed was a band from Berkeley, CA, U.S.A. You can call them emo or experimental, whatever.Features ex-members of Reach Out, John Henry West, etc. They’ve released three full-lengths, Drag Explosive (1995), Blue & West (1996), and Evolution to Trust (1999). They also released several singles and EP’s, including a Self-Titled 7” (1996) and the Warped Speed b/w Hey Sister Vampire 7” (1997).

This is probably one of my favorite 7"s.

Lincoln - Sugarloaf (Art Monk Construction, 1994)

I'm sharing this because I thought it'd be interesting.

Apparently there's a lapse press out there, and I have it. I'm not too sure about the other 7"s, but the one I have is bullshit. It has a delay, the record I have seems to be slower than the MP3s. They even included a little note explaining why (read above). And yet, they still released it. Fuck.

Download this if you want, I don't care.
